No, the premier wasn’t “Unplanned” that’s the name of the new pro-life movie coming out soon.
Conservatives came out in droves to support the new film, alongside it’s producers, actors, and supporters in the heart of Hollywood.
The movie depicts the true story about a Planned Parenthood employee played wonderfully by Ashley Bratcher, who after years of counseling women at the clinic, ends up having a change of heart after witnessing something that changes her mind about abortion forever.
The film…which stays away from being too preachy about the topic…relies heavily on the real life perspective of the lead to educate the audience on the daily comings and goings of an abortion clinic for the very first time.
It is a very poignant film indeed, and there certainly wasn’t a dry eye in the house by the time it was over. I’ve been to many movie premiers before…but this was the first time that I was ever surrounded by so many of my peers. The premier filled three entire theaters at the TLC Chinese Theaters on Hollywood Boulevard.
Notable conservatives in attendance included Joy Villa, Chad Prather, Ricky Rebel, Fleccas, An0maly, Kassy Dillon, Mike Tokes, Dave Sussman, Jeremy Oliver, Omar Navarro, Laura Loomer, and many others.
Despite the solemn nature of the film, there was still a sense of upbeat camaraderie amongst everyone there, all eager and hopeful that this film will change minds in favor of the cause.
I first became aware of the film last year. There were three pro-life movies including mine, that were all filming around the same time, “Unplanned” being the second of the group to come out.
“Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer” starring Dean Cain and written by Andrew Klavan, was the first. It tells the true story about Kermit Gosnell, an abortion doctor that had been killing late term babies in Philadelphia after they had already been born alive for years. It’s extremely well done, and a glimpse into what happens when people are too scared to question the going ons at an abortion clinic in fear of angering the Left.
The third one has yet to be realeased (and this is a shameless plug, because I both co-produced and act in it.) “Roe v. Wade” tells the true story of the people and events surrounding the landmark case, and reveals the corrupt real life actions that allowed such bad legislation passed in the first place. It stars a ton of conservative actors like John Voight, William Forsythe, Nick Loeb, Stacey Dash, John Schneider, and well…me I suppose (although most won’t recognize me in my character’s very short brown wig.) It’s set to be released in a few months, but you can watch the trailer here….
If you’d like to learn where you can see “Unplanned” or set up a theater viewing in your city for it, you may do so here….
America has spoken, and we are finally making movies that represent our thoughts and values…but we can only do this with the over the top support of other conservatives and patriots, because we really are against a huge, powerful, immoral leftist machine here in Hollywood.
